The word yoga is a Sanskrit word'Yuj' which means to unite the mind, the body and the soul. The practice of postures (asanas) strengthen the body and create a feeling of well-being. The practice of Pranayama (breathing techniques) calms the mind and the practice of meditation gives us inner peace. Yoga helps us to discipline ourself, develop self confidence and self awareness.
