1) SHOWCASE YOUR AESTHETIC IN YOUR POSTS.

You should follow a pattern and color theme for posting your content. Try to use colors from your profile picture/ logo in every post. Every popular Instagram page follows a specific pattern while posting content. Start a campaign on a particular topic and post everything related to that topic for a specific period of time and then feel free to change a topic. Posting stuffs randomly is not considered a great idea.

Also, make sure to post things that would be of interest to your target audience and will add some value to them. 

 

2) POST VIDEO CONTENT ( REELS & IGTV )

Make use of videos in your feed. Post them on regular intervals. 

Research says that a whopping 85% of businesses now use video as a marketing tool, with 92% of marketers agreeing that it's an important part of their strategy. 

So make sure to take advantage of this. Also, try to add captions in the video as many viewers scroll on Instagram without the audio.

 

3) LEVERAGE HASHTAGS TO REACH NEW AUDIENCES 

Hashtags help to categorize your content on Instagram. It allows people to discover content and accounts to follow. Make use of popular and appropriate hashtags according to your niche in every post. You can also spy on big brands in your niche and how they are making use of hashtags.

 

4) WRITE GREAT CAPTIONS

Captions are a chance to enhance your content further . You can use them for sharing stories and micro-blogging, adding a short headline, asking questions, and encouraging replies. What's important is to ensure the copy is aligned with your brand. 

Make sure to keep it simple and attractive.

 

5) ENGAGE WITH YOUR COMMUNITY

Don't treat your Instagram profile as a sales pitch machine. It's a social media platform, so learn to socialize.

Responding to comments is a great way to build a strong community on Instagram.  Try to reply to as many comments as possible, appreciate if someone compliments, answer if someone asks a question, and help those who need it.

Encourage your community to share memorable moments and experiences they have with your brand and ask permission to repost some of the best content to your profile.

 

And lastly, analyze the results and make tweeks in the strategy accordingly.
