It was my first trek with my professor ,friends and some new people who later became friends. I had a good experience with them and the place was so beautiful,calm and clean that i don't have any words to explain it.
It's my request to all who are now planning to visit this place, please do not litter there. You can carry one plastic bag to keep all the trash.
If you're planning to go in rainy season then make sure to carry good trekking shoes (not runners) because it was all slippery due to rain. One of my friend slipped thrice due to his Puma running shoes and I think you don't want that to happen to you. It can be fatal at some point.
Estimate expense - Rs.450 for 6 people .
Route - Santacruz to Dadar --- Dadar to karjat station --- karjat station to The foot of sondai i.e Sondewadi.
From Karjat Station you will get tamtam/tumtum . We gave Rs.450 for 6 people . Try to bargain as much as possible with those tamtam drivers.
