Over the past three years, HERE has been working closely with automobile firms, such as BMW Group, to develop the technology. UniMap is prepared for a 2023 rollout to a select group of customers before going live for all HERE customers by 2024. It is created to provide unsurpassed levels of map freshness, quality, and coverage. The technology that powers the HERE platform creates the full HERE map and enables users to quickly develop their own private maps and tailored location services.
