Nowadays everyone is so familiar with social media that every individual keeps on posting stuff to be recognized and to portray that they are way cool. Most of the youngsters like themselves being called a cool guy/girl. This cool word has gone way ahead and become a standard that almost everyone is trying hard to achieve. To top it up there are various social media challenges that are been coming up that people right from the celebrities to the common public and small kids follow blindly. And when asked about the same the reason given is “we did it just because it was trending”. There were many challenge that were been put up on social media by people and different people under it and were expected to complete the challenge and again tag people to whom the would like to pass on the challenge. Many celebrities and public figures like actors, cricketers and even politicians. "Ice bucket challenge" was taken in 2014 by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) to make people aware about a particular disease wherein 17 million upload their video of pouring a full bucket of ice water on their head. Now how far is it feasible in just wasting a bucket of water for a challenge and 17 million people doing this waste definitely wasted a huge amount. There are some parts in the world more precisely in our country where people are struggling for water. What is those people were given this water it would have been rem helpful. The next challenge that came up was "fitness challenge" were in people were tagged and asked to show their moves for keeping themselves fit which was a helpful challenge. Then came "wink challenge" which was trending after a video of Priya Varrier released where she was winking at a guy and since then everyone started doing the same. You could find the same stuff coming up from different people on all social platforms.  "Mannequin" challenge was one of the interesting challenge where you have to freeze yourself as mannequin and it will be recorded. I personally was part of this challenge and enjoyed doing it.  "Dance with the alien" challenge which again suddenly got into trend as you have to copy the dance steps of the alien. It was funny and entertaining so thumbs up for this challenge.  "Flip the bottle challenge" was related to concentration where you were suppose to flip the bottle in such a way that is should stand still when it lands on the surface you using for the same. This was again high on internet and everyone tried doing the same. Many also posted the bloopers they had while doing this challenge. Last but not the least the most trending nowadays is the #kikichallenge also known as #inmyfeelings challenge where the song of Drake in being played in the car and the person gets down from the moving car and dance along the moving car. No doubt the song is tempting and trending but is it really important to take this challenge. The challenge which were listed about did not have any risk that could cause any physical harm to the person doing it, but when it comes to kikichallenge there are videos that are been posted of people who failed in the same and many also feel out of the car. Maybe they might have got few scratches on their body, but what if it might have led to some serious injuries as if you see the video most of them have fallen on they back miserably. Though it looks funny when we see the video but do we really require to risk our life and body for a silly challenge??? Even police have raised voice against it and for a chance most celebrities are not supporting the same as it involves a huge risk as most has most of the video is been recorded on the highways which might led to a disaster not only for the person who is outside the car but for the person who is driving as he/she has to perform multitasking of shooting the video and also driving which might also led to an accident. I'm not against the challenge that come up on internet, its just that people should know what they are doing and what might be its consequences. Ultimately everyone does it to stand out of the crowd and look cool or maybe try to fit into the evolving society b showing off that they are cool. Its good to be cool but not on the cost of your life or health. You definitely should push your limits so that you grow and groom yourself but by understanding your limits and what are you contributing to the society because knowing or unknowingly you are simply contributing to the blind evolution that is happening and might not have even have any good advantage coming out of it. So next time when you think about doing a challenge that is trending do think twice about the same and then work on it.
