After a drinking session in a party or get-together it is common to have alcohol-induced hangover next morning. Alcohol hangovers contribute to workplace absenteeism, impaired job performance, reduced productivity, poor academic achievement, and may compromise potentially dangerous daily activities such as driving a car or operating heavy machinery. Incidents of alcohol-induced hangovers could be as high as 35%. Common hangover symptoms are - headache, nausea, acid reflux, dizziness, fatigue, dehydration, concentration problems & mood changes. For overcoming these symptoms, often common home remedies such as lemonade, coffee/tea, or house-hold medicines available in the first-aid box such as a headache pills or antacids are tried. Though these remedies do provide some relief, but do not provide complete recovery from all the  symptoms of hangover. Let us look at each remedy and see which symptom they can relieve and which not.
  1. Lemonade - it contains lemon & water. Some people add some salt & sugar or honey. Lemonade is a refreshing drink and has certain health benefits. But for hangover, it can only help with a little relief in acidity and dehydration, but not in other symptoms
  2. Coffee/Tea - contain caffeine, which is good for bringing alertness. But it does not work on other symptoms of hangover.
  3. Headache pill - as the name suggests, it will only take care of headache, but no other symptom.
  4. Antacid - again it will only help with gastric irritation and acid reflux, on other symptoms it will not work.
As we see, no household remedy is complete to control all the symptoms of hangover. Also it is highly unlikely that we can take 2 or 3 of such things together, as we need relief immediately. Best hangover remedy must have a balanced scientific formula to address each and every symptom of hangover. Hydraseltz is a scientifically designed formulation anti-hangover tablet for hangover recovery that works on all the symptoms. Hydraseltz is the best hangover remedy that contains Glucose - to re-energize, electrolytes Sodium and Potassium - to re-hydrate and low quantity of medicated caffeine - to re-focus. Keep Hydraseltz effervescent tablets, that come in refreshing green-apple flavour, ready in your first-aid box for those after-party mornings, and your delicious anti-hangover drink in ready in less than 2 minutes, and will relieve your hangover symptoms within 15 minutes.
